The slipped disc and spinal gymnastics
Exercise: Linking movements with good energies
Choose an activity that you do often. This can be your work or “sweeping the famous street” for example.
For each of the motivating forces listed below, pick out reasons why you do that activity.
- Curiosity
- Interest
- Relationships
- Idealism
- Physical activity (sport)
- Appreciation
- Helpfulness
- Love
Curiosity is always at the forefront of a problem that wants to be solved (Galileo Galilei).
As an example, it might sound like this:
When I am out and about to sweep the streets, I am very curious about whom I meet there. There is always news and interesting things to see and learn. There is always something happening on the street.
I am very interested in making sure that everything is clean and tidy. Because with a clean street, I also clear the way for clean and healthy things to come to me. By sweeping the street, I bring loving energy to my house. The people who walk by will feel good through my loving sweeping. It is also good for me to be physically active again. I praise myself for this, because I have tidied up and brought healthy energies into the world. Of course I also like to help my neighbours who are on holiday now and cannot sweep their side of the street which I just sweep as well.
Never allow yourself to meet someone who isn’t happier after meeting you (Mother Teresa).
Find reasons that support all your activities. Link your movements with good energies by listing the benefits.
Unless you don’t put good thoughts and ideas into action, there are’nt any good thoughts and ideas. There is nothing good! Unless, you do it!
Spinal gymnastics
Now, for a change, a few practical exercises supporting the fact that mind and body are one unit. We can easily get ourselves out of a deep hole or a state of weakness by doing a few physical exercises and also bring yourself back into a different state of consciousness and thus into a healthier mindset.
Life is movement and so we take every opportunity to move.
Of course, mind is part of this. We have now talked a lot about healthy thoughts and motivation. Now you can put it into practice. Here I have listed a few of my favourite exercises for the back. They are multifunctional. They strengthen the deep back muscles, while also stretching the back muscles and ligaments and stretching and relieving the spine.
By stretching and extending the main energy channel, the spine, the frequency of the body and the energy content increase. These are exercises for every occasion and can be used for everything.
The prerequisite, however, is that you combine the physical exercise with spiritual benefits and qualities. Many people ask me: Does this also help with this and that? Can I do the exercise for that too? Then I always receive a list of illnesses.
Stiff neck, headaches, back pain, slipped discs, sciatica (sciatica = large leg nerve / hip nerve), arthrosis (joint wear), arthritis (joint inflammation), scoliosis (spinal curvature with twisting), spondylolisthesis, spinal canal stenosis and many more.
These back exercises that I have written down will do you a lot of good. They will help you mentally, physically and emotionally. They are really strengthening exercises and ideal for positively influencing and even curing all kinds of back diseases and complaints.
Especially if you do these exercises as a preventive measure, problems do not appear in the first place. They are used successfully for all kinds of back problems.
The exercises of the Spiritual Back School are also successful with all other illnesses and complaints.
Yes, it always helps, everything you do helps you! Always….., you must get that into your head now!

- I am doing this to be pain-free in future.

*You know that you should not say “my”, but better “the”, because you did not buy the disease, did you?
You can do the following back exercises either lying on the floor or, better still, standing against a smooth, continuous wall. Pay attention to your general condition and adapt the exercise programme to your personal abilities.
1st exercise: Strengthening your back
Stand with your back against a wall. Your feet are hip-width apart, your arms at your sides.
Now press your heels, buttocks, shoulders and the back of your hands against the wall while keeping your head straight.
Feet and toes should point forward and the knees should not be bent.
Hold this tension as long as you can, breathing in and out normally. Repeat these exercises three times a day with three repetitions.
When you walk away from the wall, in the future, try to maintain this posture while standing and walking and remaining upright.
This exercise is especially good for strengthening the back muscles and relieving pressure on the intervertebral discs and small spine.
2nd exercise: back stretch
Again stand again with your back against a wall, feet hip-width apart, arms at your sides.
Now press your heels, buttocks, shoulders, back of your hands and this time additionally your lumbar spine against the wall.
This exercise stretches and strengthens the back and also helps with a hunchback or hollow back. By straightening up, your frequency increases and you get more vitality. Nevertheless, it can happen that this exercise makes you tired at first. If this happens, don’t give up, but keep going. Tiredness is a sign of too much energy that needs to be converted. If you do the exercise lying down, make sure that your head does not lift off!
