The herniated disc (2)
Exercise: Recognize and reprogram unhealthy actions!
You know the saying:
Danger recognized, danger averted!
When you realize you’re doing something you don’t want to do or think it’s doing you harm, that’s the most important thing.
Now please take a pad to write on and of course a pen. Of course, you are happy to do this right away and it is not too much or too exhausting for you to seriously start the next exercise. You will remember that if you do a task immediately and don’t put it off, it strengthens your will.
Tell yourself: By doing this exercise immediately and perfectly, everything I want will be given to me immediately and perfectly in the future! It keeps improving my life and my health.
Review your daily routine and now write down anything you perceive as an unhealthy action.
Examples:
- I eat chips.
- I go to the cigarette machine.
- I already sit in front of the television in the morning.
- I always carry too heavy.
- I always cross my legs when sitting and therefore sit crooked.
- I sleep too much.
- I don’t like to go to work
Tell yourself now, I no longer need these actions, they are unnecessary, and I will stop doing them from now on. I’ll start right away!
When you formulate an intention, it already has a strong effect on your subconscious. However, it will be even better if you reprogram this energy that you have always generated with this habit and to which your body has become accustomed and define it for other purposes.
Examples:
- Instead of eating chips, I peel an apple.
- Instead of going to the cigarette machine, I pick herbs in the garden.
- Or if you don’t have a yard, just take a walk and breathe some fresh air. You were used to buy something, so you should replace this action with a meaningful purchase.
- Instead of sitting in front of the TV in the morning, I turn on the radio and do floor exercises.
- I always carry too heavy. From today I’ll run twice, and by that l get a better figure.
- I always cross my legs when sitting and therefore sit crooked. That is past. Starting today, I sometimes sit the other way around on the chair or slide forward to the edge and sit without a backrest. It is so easy!
- I sleep too much. No, that must have been in another life. Morning exercise is the best exercise. I go out and jog in wind and weather, so I’m much more efficient during the day and need less sleep.
- I don’t like going to work. There are now three options.
- First option: It’s just the way to the working place that bothers you and you forget about it when you are with your work. Then it will be easy for you to make the path more varied. You can think about alternative routes!
- Second option: It’s the work itself, then motivate yourself to have the best job in the world and find reasons why you like it.
- Third option: Though, if you really don’t like your job anymore, then you must have the joy and power of writing the resignation and know that when you let go something, something better will follow.
The second way to get rid of unhealthy movements is, as already mentioned, to change your attitude towards movement so that the movement has more energy and is therefore healthier for you.
Examples:
- Oh, I have to mow the lawn again, I always hate that.
- I have to empty the dishwasher again, it’s too tiring for me.
- The floor is dirty again, I hate cleaning.
Here’s another test from kinesiology to make it clear. You can use such a test for all life situations and test what is good for you and what is not.
It is better, to light the tiniest lamp, than to complain about darkness.
Exercise: Kinesiology Test Healthy-Unhealthy!
Find a partner for this. If necessary, you can also carry out this test on yourself.Extend your arm to the side and have your partner try to push your arm down again. Again, observe how much force you have to expend and note the result.
Now think of an action you don’t like. I have to sweep the street again, that’s too much for me. Say this sentence out loud.
Right now, when you’re thinking about it, have your partner push your arm down again. You will find yourself weakened and your partner can easily push your arm down.
Then find a joyful act. For example, how much you like to play badminton.
Now let your arm push down again in the same way. Oops, you can’t, your partner is trying, but you’ve become a lot stronger, and your arm stays up.
Exercise: Change actions energetically!
Reassure yourself that what you are doing is good for you and brings you joy, always. This is the only way your movements bring you energy. Change your personal attitude and be happy that you can mow the lawn and get some fresh air. Start making this shift immediately with everything you do.
Who walks the path of truth does not stumble (Mahatma Gandhi).
Exercise: Lie detector
You can do the same test with your name just for fun. Say your name clearly and have your partner hold your arm down. Say I’m “your name”. Remember the result!
Then say another name. I am “foreign name” and immediately your arm will drop down like pudding.
You know the saying “Lies have short legs” and it is true. Lie to yourself or others or deceive yourself. This weakens you. Even if it’s just tiny little white lies. Saying bad things about yourself and your health doesn’t help either. You can continue this test in a similar way with sentences like:
-
- My back is weak.
- My joints hurt.
- I have a herniated disc.
- My stomach is too big.
- I have arthrosis (joint wear and tear)
- My cervical spine is injured.
You immediately lose life energy through these statements! The more unhealthy emotions you have linked to your statements, the more you lose life energy. Think and tell only healthy things about your body – you will always find something!
The right motivation
The best motivation is self-motivation!
Motivation is an elemental human force that can lead to peak performance. There are people who run 80 hours, several marathons in a row; for others, the way to the car is too far. There are people who are damaged or amputated by strokes of fate or accident and then take part in the Paralympic Games and are more productive than before, when similarly affected people are suffering and grieving in a nursing home. There are people who are told there is no one left to help, and they believe it and die; or others mobilize their powers and heal themselves from the worst diseases.
Faith = motivation, can move mountains!
Positive motivational forces, or one can also say active forces, are:
- Curiosity,
- Interest,
- Relationships,
- Idealism,
- Physical activity (sport),
- Recognition,
- Helpfulness,
- Love.
Motivation develops in the brain primarily when you accomplish something you set out to accomplish, or when you receive recognition or reward for an action. The will to get recognition anchors itself in the subconscious through repetition and becomes part of the character.
Here’s another important quote to remember:
Watch your thoughts
because they become your words,
Watch your words
because they become your actions,
Watch your actions
because they become your character,
Watch your character
because it becomes your destiny.
(From the Talmud)
I like to repeat things in a similar form from different angles and points of view in order to make the connections clearer. With every new piece of knowledge and thus an increase in awareness, perception also increases, and the same knowledge gets a different meaning.
Another example that you are probably already familiar with: you read the same book or article again after a while but find something completely different in it. This is due to your changed attitude and increased awareness showing and revealing new things to you.
Once you’ve successfully passed an exam, earned a certificate or medal, or received an award for your achievement that anchors in your brain and creates connections to higher energies, energies that come from the community.
If you’re doing something just for yourself for more selfish purposes, that’s okay. However, you will not get as much energy and support as doing something for the community, for your country, or for humanity.
The higher and nobler the goals are, the more energy flows from there. Because there are things that everyone wants, there is something that every living being wants. If one acts for the good of all, one will also receive the goodwill of all as energy of support.
