“He who thinks about sickness summons it. Likewise he who thinks about death also summons it.” Mind, being a receptive instrument it quickly receives negative thoughts. This is because reception is a negative activity, while transmission is the positive activity of the mind. As one receives thoughts the chemistry in him changes accordingly. To let not the mind into reception of negative thoughts, a physician has to instill enough wisdom into the patient, to be receptive of positive thoughts. He should subtly drive the patients to think of flowers, fairy angels, and winged beings, to instill in the patients’ consciousness, the beauty of the world. Physicians seldom do this, they even shun it.
A true healer should drive the patients’ thoughts towards mountains and valleys, rivers and flowerbeds, towards the books relating to the beauty of the world, as also to the videos and the related music. When psyche of the patient is charged with lofty, positive and magnetic thoughts the patient himself cures his/her sickness.
A patient should never be left to think of additional sicknesses which are likely to come, think of graveyards, crematoriums, destructions in the world and accidents. By this his psyche tends to be a harbor for variety of sicknesses. He should be gently directed towards the fairer things of the world, not the darker ones. When videos that depict Himalayas, Alps, Rocky and other mountain ranges are brought into patient’s knowledge, when the beautiful dimensions of the scriptures are introduced to him and when biographies of men of will are brought in contact, much help takes place and much cure happens at the psychic level.
It is also useful when patients are taught to recognize, that life is uninterrupted and that the earthly experience will be succeeded by subtle and beautiful life, much relief comes to the patient. Death should not be seen as terminator, but as an event of transition. He should be educated of the continuity of life. The truth of continuity of life after death gives great relief. It is about time, that we do not let the patients suffer from the thought that their ultimate destination as cemetery. It is not appropriate for man to think of the grave as ultimate destiny, but to think of the wings that he gains after the death into the world of beauty. More clearly, when man instills in his consciousness, the beauty of the world, more easily he will be receptive to the new positive, radiant, dynamic and magnetic energy that contributes to cure.
There has to be a thoughtful approach to cure but not a routine medication.
