The second type of a physician, “Specificus“, knows the secret nature, the specific properties of the medication quite exactly and has also tried it on himself. For this, however, it is necessary to know the signature of the illness and of the healing plant exactly. Thus, in the case of this type of physician one acts just as in the case of homeopathy – according to the tenet, “Like must be cured with like”. “All secret powers of things are healing the respective diseases in the same way in which they have originated.”
“Only the similar should be used for the similar. The cold does not overcome the hot, as also the hot does not overcome the cold, in the developing illness. The treatment has to be carried out with what the disease has generated“. Therefore healing agents and healing methods have to be in analogy with the illness. For this reason he does not overlay the illnesses with artificial names but he calls them after the healing agent which has to be employed. “It can be derived from this that you should not say ‘this is the cholera, this is the melancholia, but: this is an Arsenicus, this is an Aluminosum. …. Because similar and similar should be given the same name’”.
The third type of physician is concerned with the relationships with the stars and is called “Characteralis”. As he does not require material matter in the form of a medication he is beyond the duality of sympathy and antipathy. The name of this physician makes it clear that he heals from his own deep insight into things. It is only the charisma and the inner truth which create the healing reaction of the patient. This third physician certainly requires a lot of intuitive understanding and experience. In the long run the self-knowledge of the patient should release the healing process under the guidance of the physician.
The fourth type of physician bears the name “Spiritualis” and he heals solely with magic. With the help of the energy of the stars the magical human changes matter. The matter changed in such a way can then be used as a healing agent. The knowledge necessary for this is mediated by spiritual beings with whom one communicates for the purpose of learning and healing. One learns this fine art not from other people but exclusively by one’s own connection with the spiritual world.
For the healing of patients this physician makes use of the Arkana, the so-called main media which, in a balanced way, mirror the illness in the realms of minerals and plants and in that of the metals. Here, every plant, mineral and metal has a concrete reference to the stars. All these healing agents start, as it were, to resonate amongst each other and with the cosmos, and this way multiply their effect. This medicine is to raise the organism and the spirit of the patient to a vibration level which enables him to gain self-knowledge which dispenses with any sickness.
The fifth type of physician is called “Fidelis”. He is a master of hermetics and there are no doubts in his belief. His spirit has become a vessel through which the entire world spirit is working. It is the task of this physician to open all senses of the sick person for the higher powers. This is in particular the case with patients who, for some reasons, have lost the originary trust in themselves and in the world. This happens particularly frequently when a child has experienced abuse or when it was rejected in his early years. Many of these children then turn into addicted patients. No matter whether by alcohol, drugs, or medicinally, by using officially indicated psychotropic drugs, these people try to kill what – not yet processed – lies in themselves.
The soul has to be healed – that’s what it is all about in the work of this fifth type of physician. “What raises us above our lower nature is the faith which turns us into spirits, on one level with the spirits. … From abuse of the faith, superstition inevitably has to arise“. “Therefore the medicine is not in what is chosen by man but in what God has chosen. He knows the physician in his heart and does not pay attention to his degree, his university, his pomp, his name, his letter and seal, but he regards the merciful and gives the medicine to him.”
In the works of Paracelsus we find the statement, “The third fundament on which medicine is based is alchemy. If the physician does not possess positive abilities and experiences this, his art is in vain.” And he continues in another place, “The alchemist has to stand in the light of nature“.
Practical Examples
As alchemical preparations, produced by ourselves, may not be used as medicaments, a subtle move is required. We could, for example, call these preparations room spray and use them as such. A room spray of gold which, beside the alchemically low-temperature liquefied
„Aurum portabile“, certainly also contains the essential oils and water-soluble salts of the plants which enter into a synergetically acting quality. Together with gold is the therapy I most frequently use. Because who does not know the situation where conversation is in danger of getting stuck? No matter whether we have the case of business negotiations, partner therapy sessions or arguments which parents have with their pubescent children – the use of the gold-spray takes immediate effect. The mental state of the persons concerned becomes clearer, the perspective starts to shift in such a way that the problematic situation is perceived from a higher perspective. One further indication for gold-spray is failure of creativity, no matter whether it concerns an artist or a therapist.
Opposed to this is the effect of the room spray which contains the low-temperature liquefied silver, “Argentum portabile“ and the relating plants. Due to its allocation to the moon and the female emotionality this spray should be on every bedside table, because the torturing and circling thoughts which many people experience become subdued. Instead of clear rationality a change in emotionality gets under way. Patients unable to mourn or to cry with relief after the loss of a relative need silver-spray. This loosens the emotional blockages. If the morning phase takes too long, and if the person is unable to find his or her way back to everyday life, gold-spray is now again indicated.
