Questions & Answers
Parts I and II introduced the nature and modes of action of Streptococcinum, so far a little-known nosode which the doctor and homoeopath Andreas Tilch describes as “a kind of broad-spectrum homoeopathic remedy” that has proven to be beneficial for both physical and mental/emotional issues. Following the Streptococcinum Basic and Experience Course at Homeopathy Self-Help Course, he addressed the following questions. We have selected the following questions and the answers from Andreas Tilch, as examples.
If you still have the ‘old’ (untriturated) Streptococcinum potencies – can you still use them?
“I always have patients who come back saying that they are still doing very, very well with the old potencies and that they are happy with them. I was also very happy with the original potencies. However, my impression is that the new C5 triturated potencies (Streptococcinum-P-T) unlock potentials for our life here on earth that the old ones simply do not.”
“Ultimately, you can live very well without streptococcinum. Most people live without streptococcinum and have survived for many millions of years. That is not an issue at all, and life also works with the old potencies of streptococcinum.
Those who are happy with this can stay with the old potencies. But if you want to tap into further, deeper layers and sources of strength within yourself, then I recommend switching to the new potencies. The better is the enemy of the good. The old ones already release energetic patterns from the system, especially from the emotional and mental systems. They make a difference in certain attitudes, in certain perspectives and in certain ways of looking at life. This works well with the old potencies. You get a new perspective, an inner distance to problems that previously seemed huge. The old potencies allow us to look down on the pile of rubbish from above, so to speak.
From this perspective, it does not bother us, but it is not cleared up either. The new C5 potencies work 5 storeys deeper into the earth. This is like an anchoring that makes a big difference in our experience of life. We are much more stabilised and encrustations in our physical body also dissolve far more. A tree has a crown and a root, and the old streptococcinum is like a fertiliser for the crown, as if the crown continues to blossom, as if upward growth is taking place. People with a stable base, and a stable root, get on well with the old untriturated version of ‘Streptococcus pyogenes’ (STREP-P). I also like to refer to it as ‘Streptococcus LIGHT’. It can initiate amazing healing, development, transformation and liberation processes.
The liquid form of potency without prior trituration, leads the consciousness directly and gradually to an altered, higher perspective, which often shows itself in dreams and also in the waking consciousness. By shifting the consciousness away from the problem and looking down on it, earthly problems, emotional disorders and physical illnesses can be alleviated surprisingly quickly, recede in waves or dissolve completely. From a distance, the problem is perceived as less emotionally threatening, and with mental clarity, new perspectives become possible, so that solutions happen more easily and as if by themselves. Repeated doses, e.g. weekly ones, have a cleansing effect, like a detergent on a dirty jumper: with each new wash cycle, a little more ‘dirt’ is removed, especially from the mental and emotional ‘fabric’. This can dampen your mood for a day or two after taking it, especially in the first few days or weeks, but it does not have to be this way.
It is not uncommon for physical reactions to occur, e.g. temporary sore throats or skin rashes, which show that we are resonating with the remedy. With each further dose, however, less and less ‘dirt’ dissolves and the effect is immediately positive for many. In the longer term, the old potencies will above all move mental and spiritual incrustations, It is easier to free oneself from problems and the attitude to life becomes lighter.
For some people, the upward distance development triggered by STREP-P can also seem scary, others experience a clear improvement at first, but at some point, it changes and they can’t go any further, because the old, untriturated STREP-P doesn’t provide a deep anchoring in the earth. However, there are people for whom it is precisely about going deep and strengthening the roots to become more stable. For this, we need the triturations that work five levels deep and ‘cultivate’ the physical soil (our body). The C5 potencies can be more strenuous, but I would recommend them more because they have a more thorough, stabilising and powerful effect. This applies to both, acute and chronic conditions.”
Question: Can you also move down with the potencies?
“You can individually move up and down in this lift.
After a longer phase with 7.78 M, for example, switching back to C 40 and then slowly moving up again is no problem at all. Classical homoeopathy has been around for more than 200 years, whereas the C5-triturated Streptococcinum-P-T has only been around for a few years. There are no fixed rules for taking it, which suits the nature of streptococcinum very well. The options for taking and using it are as varied as life itself.
It is almost more important to treat your family or partner than the potency. A higher potency is not as effective as cotreatment of the partner or family. Stress factors often have something to do with the person you are in a relationship with. If one of them is very inflexible and rigid in this relationship, he will become softer, more permeable and more content with himself with Streptokokkinum.
Sometimes the partner goes along and sometimes he digs his heels in even more. The moment you are allowed to cotreat your partner, there is suddenly a kind of sigh of relief and the energy between the partners flows again, releasing the tension because it is now possible to talk to the other person and be understood. Cotreatment of the system is a key more important than increasing the potency.”
What about people who are highly sensitive to homoeopathic remedies?
“There are always people who are highly sensitive to homoeopathic remedies. Some are so sensitive that they do not need to take it at all. These people can resonate without taking the remedy simply by reading my book. For those who are very sensitive, it may be enough to wear the remedy on the body, smell it or mix five globules in a glass of water and take a teaspoonful of it. If you are particularly sensitive, you can also add a teaspoon of this solution to water and epitomize it again.”
To what extent can Streptococcinum lead to an initial aggravation, and how can you counteract this?
“This is obviously about safety, and in a situation like this, there should be someone nearby who can hold you so that you do not feel alone. Let someone accompany you and hold you close by the hand. You do not have to be braver than you are, you can seek support.”
Is taking Streptococcinum ineffective or pointless if you smoke?
“No, of course not. However, it is more difficult to let unpleasant feelings get to you if you smoke. Smoking is a way to control stress so that you do not allow things to come to your mind. This is of course counterproductive, just like drinking alcohol. If you smoke a lot and/or drink alcohol, you do not feel yourself. However, exciting processes can also take place in dreams and deep sleep in case of smokers and drug addicts. For this group of people, too, taking Streptococcinum is worthwhile. It is not uncommon for addictions to recede astonishingly under Strep-Tilch!”
Is the recommended intake the same for children and adults?
“Children have often accumulated fewer traumas in the course of their lives and have fewer incrustations in their life history. In this respect, fewer or less frequent doses are often sufficient. I do not necessarily recommend that children take 1.3M or 7.78M daily regularly, but it is sufficient if they only take it when needed or, for example, weekly. Children can take the higher potencies, but they do not usually need them as often.”
What is the situation with or after vaccinations or when there is vaccine damage?
“My experience is that Streptococcinum has a draining function. I recommend taking C 40 Streptococcinum (or in higher potencies if you have been taking it for a while, for example), for 7 days a week before the vaccination and also for 710 days after the vaccination.”
What should I do if I do not feel anything? What should I do if my chief complaint does not change?
It happens again and again that you take the remedy and cannot feel any change. This “I do not notice anything” happens frequently because our operating system sometimes does not realise that something is happening. We do not notice things that are no longer there. It is like when you take something out of a room, we do not necessarily notice it immediately, but only when we look for it or when someone asks us about it. Things disappear from our consciousness and we do not realise it. If you ask the person in question, “And how are you doing in life at the moment?”, he/she may say that he/she does not see any difference, but if you then say: “Regardless of the remedy, how are you doing? What is happening in your life at the moment?”, then very good developments are often told that are not associated with the remedy at all.
If this “I do not notice anything” mainly refers to the fact that nothing has changed in a chief complaint, i.e. that the focus lies solely on this complaint, it makes sense to start with the peripheral vision: How bad is it? How much suffering is caused by this symptom? What do you perceive? How do you deal with this situation? How do you cope with it?
The answers to these questions will show that the peak of the complaint has been taken away and overall the suffering has become less. This can be recognised if you take your peripheral vision into account. This is of course easier in dialogue with someone else than without this exchange. So if you are your user, you take Streptococcinum and do not notice anything, then you can decide to simply continue taking the previous potency as before or you can take it more frequently – e.g. in the morning and the evening. If, after a while, you still do not notice anything, then Andreas Tilch recommends involving the close reference partner or the whole system – the partner, the father, the mother and the children. The system then acts like an amplifier on the dynamics of this symbiotic system. Then solving processes occur, although it may still not be associated with the streptococcus, but it happens anyway.
So:
- Take a closer look
- More frequent doses
- Involve the system and keep at it
Sometimes it is also a melting process. It is like a thawing process, and that simply takes time. Maybe it is about making friends with everything – It is the way it is now, and how bad is it if the complaint does not go away? Could it be that I should perhaps change my life circumstances, that I should do something to make myself feel better? What is the illness trying to tell me?
It’s not about taking globules and then everything goes away, but they provide the tailwind for what I need to change, i.e. to abandon the very narrow ideas of myself, ideas of ‘this is the only way it has to be’ or ‘I have to function exactly as I always used to do it’.
So there may be completely new solutions. This requires the courage to follow your intuition and the signals from your body and heart, to take new steps, to break new ground, to have fun in life and to practise a new way of looking at things. This courage is strengthened by Streptococcinum, as existential fears are increasingly dispelled.
“If you change the way you look at things, the thing you look at will change.”

This is what we can learn. Thanks to the work of Andreas Tilch, we know that Streptococcinum allows us to see in a new light what we have locked away in our inner basement, associated with a sense of threat and which frightens us. Aspects of ourselves that we do not want to recognise. We then look at it as a welcome childhood illness and something that allows us to take a deep breath, where we can be ourselves in peace, and where we can be ill. From such a perspective, an illness is no longer an annoying thing that will not go away but is like a bridge to ourselves, like a connection to the depths of our soul. Healing processes can then get initiated and the illness heals. And after overcoming a ‘childhood illness’ in such a healing way, we feel better than before.
Such processes are only possible in the pause mode, which allows us to enter our weakness. This physical weakness is then transformed into a resource from which we can draw strength and which enriches us.
The so-called ‘soul love meditation’ has a supportive effect in this context. Andreas Tilch’s heart beats for this wonderful instrument. On August 1st, 2023, he put it together for the participants of the Streptococcinum Basic and Experience Course as follows:
– Soul’s Love –
The Soul’s Love technique was brought into the world by the Indian woman Aatmn Parmar (= spiritual name; real name = Mamatha Honnavar). She is the founder of “Redikall Healing Therapies” and is an awakened spiritual master. Aatmn studied medicine at the University of Mumbai and worked as a homoeopathic doctor in Mumbai for fifteen years. Her personal healing journey led her to decide to give up her practice and dedicate herself to empowering people to help themselves – because what other people can do for someone is always limited. She realised that healing is not about fixing something, but that healing is much more than you can imagine: A way to find yourself, to connect with the divine within yourself and to find the courage to truly be yourself.
The meditation technique she channels, “Soul’s Love”, is a simple tool that anyone can use on themselves. According to Aatmn, Soul’s Love is the experience of a cleansing soul bath: a bath in the highest frequency of the universe, love. Everyone deserves this bathing in love, and Aatmn recommends that we do it regularly for ourselves.
Basic acceptance:
Before we took human form, our soul accepted certain experiences in love to evolve and grow. At the soul level, there is no experience that is good or bad, ugly or painful, right or wrong. For the soul, it is simply an experience. It is only the human consciousness that judges experience as good, bad, ugly, painful, right or wrong.
Soul love technique:
When we take any experience into the space of soul love and align it with the frequency of love, we are embracing and acknowledging the soul’s choice of that very experience. We recognise and embrace that the soul has accepted and chosen that experience in love. At some point in this process we are then able to see the brilliance in that experience and then rise above that experience. So the soul love technique helps us to see the brilliance and then move beyond that experience.
Example of application:
“Rejection” is an experience that everyone goes through. You say and repeat, 3 – 7 times in a row:
“Rejection is my soul love.”
“My need for rejection is my soul love.”
“My resistance to letting go the rejection is my soul love”.
“My non-realisation of the brilliance in the experience of rejection is my soul love.”
Analogy:
A gift wrapped in ugly paper: many of us do not want to unwrap the gift because the outside seems too painful and too ugly. We avoid this experience without realising “What you resist will persist”. When we place the experience in the space of soul love and recognise and embrace it, we open the ugly gift wrapping, see the gift inside and the wrapping flies away.
Preparation:
Close your eyes and focus your attention on your breath.
Breathe in through your nose and out through your mouth. While breathing in, take in a lot of positive energy, and while breathing out, breathe out worry, fear, anxiety and unconsciousness.
Keep breathing in a lot of positive energy.
Then slowly come back to your normal breath.
Invite in all loving, healing and guiding forces.
Invite your angel guides.
Invoke the frequency of love.
Invoke the highest consciousness and the energy of the primordial source.
Thank them.
Ask for their blessing. Ask for their guidance.
Ask for answers and solutions.
And ask for orientation.
Every unpleasant feeling that you would rather not have, every unpleasant experience that still occupies your thoughts and emotions, can be taken into the space of soul love.
1. “[…] is my soul love…”
2 “My need to experience […] is my soul love…
3 “My resistance to letting go […] is my soul love …”
4. “My unconsciousness for the brilliance in the experiences of […] is my soul love…”
In the brackets is put what is particularly painful or unacceptable at the present moment, e.g. a feeling of worthlessness, disappointment, betrayal, jealousy, hatred of your brother, irritation at annoying flies disturbing your nap, being uninteresting to others, being put down, coercion, etc.
Guided meditation by Aatmn (English):
youtube.be/THKbV2MJ7sM Heal effects of past rejections with Soul’s Love
With this meditation, we move out of our thinking apparatus, which perceives everything as threatening, and enter a frequency of pure love that does not only lead us to healing but also serves life all around us.
“Streptococcinum can help – according to the experience of many patients – turning worry into calmness, fear into courage, turmoil into clarity, exuberance into caution, stress into calmness, weakness into uprightness, defences into being able to be touched, aloneness into connectedness, fulfilment out of frustration, networking awareness out of friend versus foe thinking, compassion out of guilt, gifts out of lack of appreciation, stability out of instability, flexibility out of rigidity, bonding out of illness, basic trust and joy in the earth adventure out of existential fear.”
A deeper understanding and impressive case studies that demonstrate such transformations can be found in Andreas Tilch’s book.
