About Dr. Jorge Carvajal

Dr. Jorge Iván Carvajal Posada was born in Medellín, Colombia. He is a surgeon at the University of Antioquia, pioneer of bioenergetic medicine in Latin America and creator of Sintergética y Manos para Sanar (hands to heal). This is a medical proposal which, in the spirit of synthesis, integrates advances in bio-cybernetics and general systems theory, quantum physics, traditional medicine and the most modern discoveries of Western medicine, with healing, conceived as the path to peace, inner harmony and solidarity. Dr. Carvajal is co-founder of the „Asociación International de Sintergética” (A.I.S.), a non-profit association that brings together therapists, doctors, associations, companies and foundations related to the training, practice, promotion and social projection of Synergetics in the world, of which he is Honorary President.
